MUTOH has officially announced the launch of the XpertJet 1641SR PRO II, the latest evolution in its XpertJet wide-format eco solvent printer lineup. Designed to build on the success of its predecessor, XpertJet 1641SR Pro. The PRO 2 model brings notable advancements in print head technology, image quality and overall production reliability for sign, display and graphics professionals.
At the heart of the XpertJet 1641SR PRO II is MUTOH’s newly developed AccuFine HD Pro print head. This next-generation head delivers significantly improved ink landing accuracy, resulting in sharper text, smoother gradients and more precise detail reproduction.
Image quality has been further elevated through the introduction of MUTOH’s i-Screen EX System, an advanced print control technology designed to optimize ink distribution. This system improves the appearance of solid dark areas while effectively reducing banding, a common challenge in high-speed or high-coverage printing. The result is cleaner with enhanced visual impact.
The XpertJet 1641SR PRO II remains compatible with MUTOH’s MS51 Eco Solvent inks, known for their durability, vibrant color reproduction, and wide media compatibility. These inks support long-term outdoor performance while also maintaining low odor and improved environmental characteristics suitable for indoor production environments.
